Rami Rahim is one of the most consequential figures in the history of enterprise networking. Born in Beirut, Lebanon and raised in Toronto, Canada, he combined a world-class engineering education with an extraordinary sense of vision to help shape the modern internet.
In 1997, fresh from Stanford, Rami joined Juniper Networks as its 32nd employee and helped engineer the breakthrough M40 core router — a product that fundamentally redefined how data traveled across the internet. Over the next 17 years he would rise from engineer to the company's CEO, transforming Juniper into an AI-driven, cloud-native networking powerhouse.
Today he serves as Executive Vice President, President & General Manager of HPE Networking, overseeing both HPE Juniper Networking and HPE Aruba Networking following HPE's landmark acquisition of Juniper in 2025.
